History

Syreon Research Africa was formally established in Accra, Ghana, in 2024. In the years before incorporation, the team built relationships with governmental, non-governmental, and academic institutes and took part in capacity-development work across the region.

Ghana is the hub: an English-speaking country, a stable democracy, a gateway to West Africa, and home to the AfCFTA Secretariat. The Ghana FDA holds WHO Maturity Level 3 for medicines, and the Ministry of Health is building health technology assessment into decisions. The research base includes the University of Ghana and KNUST.
