Scientific session at the University of Energy and Natural Resources

Syreon Research Africa organised a scientific session on “From Data to Discovery: Computational Systems Medicine for Precision Oncology” at the University of Energy and Natural Resources.

The keynote was given by Prof. Tero Aittokallio of the Oslo Centre for Biostatistics and Epidemiology, University of Oslo, on how computational systems medicine accelerates precise, data-driven oncology research. The session also featured “Dual Inhibition of the SH2 Domain and P110β Catalytic Subunit Promotes Cell Death in Triple-Negative Breast Cancer (TNBC)” by Alfred Afriyie Asiedu, and “Syreon Research and Collaboration” by George Dennis Obeng.

The session marked a step toward strengthening collaboration between Syreon Research Africa and UENR’s Centre for Research in Applied Biology.
