Dissemination meeting of the ESSA grant research

Highlights from the dissemination meeting of the ESSA grant research project “Impact of iron deficiency anaemia on cognitive functions among children under-five years in urban vulnerable communities in Ghana,” held at the University of Cape Coast.

The meeting brought together academic researchers, community opinion leaders, caregivers’ representatives, and health workers. Topics included the ESSA grant background, key findings and implications for child health and cognitive development, future directions, and barriers to accessing anaemia-related services in Ghana.
