ESSA grant project: data collection training and piloting

Following ethical review approval, data collection training and piloting for the ESSA grant project “Impact of Iron Deficiency Anaemia on Cognitive Functions among Children Under Five Years in Urban Vulnerable Communities in Ghana” officially commenced.

The training was held at the University of Cape Coast and led by Nana Ama Frimpomaa Agyapong, PhD, RD, in collaboration with Syreon Research Africa. It marks a milestone in understanding the impact of iron deficiency anaemia on cognitive development in vulnerable urban children.
