CRC Health Equity Grant

Syreon Research Africa has been awarded the CRC Health Equity Grant by the Global Colon Cancer Association to evaluate access to stool-based colorectal cancer screening tests across selected regions in Ghana.

The funding advances community-driven initiatives that address disparities in colorectal cancer awareness, screening, diagnosis, treatment access, and patient support. The project assesses the availability, quality, and accessibility of screening options (gFOBT, FIT/iFOBT, and sDNA-FIT) and identifies financial, geographic, and health-system barriers, in order to inform evidence-based recommendations.
